Larry Vuillemin and Fr. Norm Douglas with Rudy DiDonato
Father Norm Douglas and Larry Vuillemin, co-founders of Heart to Heart Communications, were speakers at noon luncheon of Akron Serra Club on Tuesday at the Martin Center on the University of Akron campus. Both talked about their vocatons and how each uses them to serve Christ.
Born in Los Angeles, California, Fr. Norm grew up in Akron, Ohio. He graduated from North High School in 1965. He majored in English at the University of Akron, where he graduated magna cum laude with a bachelor of arts degree in 1969. He attended Borromeo Seminary College and transferred to St. Mary Seminary receiving a Master of Divinity degree. He was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Cleveland in 1974.
An Akrn native. Larry Vuillemin graduated from St. Vincent High School in 1966. He attended Notre Dame University on a football scholarship, graduating in 1970 with a bachelor of arts degree. He also attended The University of Akron School of Law, graduating in 1973 as valedictorian. A former Senior Trial Attorney with the Summit County Prosecutor‘s Office and Akron City Councilman, Larry is currently a partner with the law firm of Gorman, Malarcik, Pierce and Vuillemin located in Akron
