St. Paul eight grader Nadia Timofev is the state winner of a Knights of Columbus substance abuse poster contest and is now entered in the national competition.
Her poster showed a “Drug Free” balloon rising above a marijuana leaf and a cigarette.
She went to the state competiton after winning a $50 cash award in the local competition.
