She was born September 28, 1916 in Rittman to John and Mary Volek. She had worked for Coventry Schools and was a former member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was a loving, caring, and dedicated prayer warrior.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 35 years, Raymond; son, Michael; and daughter, Michelle.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Sharon) Dumas, Rita (John) Ruckman, Beth (Gary) Stewart, and Don (Melissa) Dumas; brother, Frank (Shelia) Volek; sister, Martha Stanley; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales, 4019 Manchester Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
