Anna E. Dumas, 95, passed away May 25, 2012.
She was born September 28, 1916 in Rittman to John and Mary Volek. She had worked for Coventry Schools and was a former member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. She was a loving, caring, and dedicated prayer warrior.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 35 years, Raymond; son, Michael; and daughter, Michelle.
She is survived by her children, Joseph (Sharon) Dumas, Rita (John) Ruckman, Beth (Gary) Stewart, and Don (Melissa) Dumas; brother, Frank (Shelia) Volek; sister, Martha Stanley; five grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Bacher Funeral Home, 3326 Manchester Rd., on Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m., with recitation of the Holy Rosary to be prayed at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Francis de Sales, 4019 Manchester Rd. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1220 B East Joppa Rd., Suite 332, Baltimore, MD 21286 or Hospice of Visiting Nurse, 3358 Ridgewood Rd., Akron, OH 44333, in memory of Anna.
