Mass for Ann Bordash is Monday

Ann Bordash, 90, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at her home.

Ann was born June 3, 1921 to Frank and Barbara (Bazidlo) Chack in Akron and had been an Akron resident her entire life. She was employed by the M. O'Neil Co. as a sales clerk for
over 25 years, retiring in the mid 70's. She was a member of St. John the Baptist and St. Paul Catholic Churches and a past president of both the St. John the Baptist Ladies Guild and Altar and Rosary Society.

Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank in 1999; grandson, Frank Bordash; siblings, Frank, Stanley and Tony Chack, Mary Elder and Laura Hudak; and is survived by her children, Carole (Donald) Fraraccio and Frank (Peggi) Bordash; sister, Helene Thomasson; grandchildren, Michael (Anne) and Patrick (Staci) Bordash, Catherine (Chris) Hogan, Sarah (Rick) Brebant and Paul Fraraccio; great-grandchildren, Will, Noah, Megan, Rebecca, Andrew, Aiden, Elijah, Ben and Maggie.

Funeral service will be held Monday, 10 a.m. at Anthony Funeral Home KUCKO-ANTHONY-KERTESZ CHAPEL, 1990 S. Main St., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St., Akron, Ohio 44301. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday, 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society c/o St. Paul Church.
