In June of 1951, our parishioner Dominic Eritano was listed as missing In action while he was deployed in North Korea. His remains have never been recovered. There’s been no closure for the family of Dominic Eritano. After 61 years, his nephew, Neil (Mickey) Eritano, has been inspired to give tribute to his dear uncle. The family is proud of his service to his country. The
Eritano family is also aware of so many men and women who have generously and bravely served our country in the 20th century and until now.
If you would like our parish to give recognition to someone in your family who is serving or has served in the military, living or deceased, please submit the following information to our rectory office no later than June 15, 2012: Name, Rank, Branch of Service, Years of Service and a photo if available. We are happy to recognize them with due honor with a display in the Narthex of our church from June 24 through July 4. We will prayerfully
remember Dominic and all who have bravely served our country. May God give them lasting peace.
