Catholic Charities style show set for Guy's
The Women’s Board of Catholic Charities Community Services of Summit County annual Luncheon, Style Show, Silent Auction and Raffle will be Thursday, March 8,  at 11 a.m. at Guy’s Party Centre, 500 E. Waterloo Rd. Cost is $20 per person. Pre-paid reservation checks made payable to Women’s Board of CCCS/SC, should be sent by March 4 to Mikey Stewart, 45 Bermont Ave., Munroe Falls, OH 44262.  

Prayer service at Holy Cross Cemetery on February 13
Deacon Tony DeGracia of Catholic Cemeteries Association will host a Prayer Service entitled “New Beginnings” on Monday, February 13, at 10:30 a.m. in the Sacred Heart Mausoleum. Though we cannot imagine it at first, life does go on after a loss. Prayer Shawl Ministry to meet February 9

The Prayer Shawl Ministry for our cluster parishes will meet Wednesday February 8, at 7 p.m. and Tuesday February 14, at 10 a.m. at Nativity of the Lord Jesus Parish, 2425 Myersville Rd. Please remember to bring your completed shawls for blessing, your current shawl to work on while we pray and share, and left over yarn to share with others. New members are always welcome. Lenten meals planned at Jednota Club
St. John the Baptist, Branch 553. of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Union, will sponsor a meatless meal on Ash Wednesday, February 22,  at the Jednota Club, 485 Morgan Ave.  The meal will include Slovak Haluski, Pierogies, salad, bread and butter. Cost is $7.50 to dine in and $8 for carryout. Dinner will be served between 5 and 7 p.m. During Lent, Branch 553 will sponsor All You Can Eat Friday Fish Fry that includes fish French fries, hot rice, salad, bread and butter for $8 and will be served between 4:40 and 7:30 p.m.

Lenten Mission at  IHM on March 12-13
Immaculate Heart of Mary and St. Joseph parishes will havet a 2012 Lenten Mission by Rev. Damian J. Ference. The topic is “Come Holy Spirit.” Fr. Damian is  an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Borromeo Seminary.  The mission will be Monday and Tuesday, March 12-13 at 7 p.m. at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, 1909 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls. 

St. Francis students to present 'Fiddler on the Roof'
St. Francis de Sales students will present “Fiddler on the Roof” March 9 at 7:30 p.m. March 10 at 7:00 p.m. and March 11 at 12.30 p.m., 2012, in the school gym. Admission is free but contributions are welcome. St. Francis de Sales is at 4019 Manchester Rd.
