Pew cards and a new Missalette will be in the pews this weekend for the First Sunday of Advent as the new Roman Missal changes take effect. The pew cards are a tri-fold card folded from an 8 1/2 by 11 cardstock. You will need them until you learn the proper responses of the new Roman Missal.
Where you used to respond "And also with you" you will now say instead "And with your spirit." That response is used several times in the Mass. In saying the Confiteor, it will be a return to the old response "through my fault, through my fault, through my most grevious fault," striking the breast three times.
When the Creed is said you will now say "I believe" instead of "We believe." The word "consubstantial" is used in the Nicene creed.
The response to the invitation to Communion will now be "Lord I am not worthy that you should come under my roof, but only say the word and my soul will be healed,"
