Mass for Phyllis Reitenbach is Wednesday

Phyllis J. Reitenbach, 82, died Friday, November 25, 2011. She was born in Akron and had been employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and Akron General Medical Center Service League. She was a 30 year volunteer at Akron General Medical Center, a devoted mother and a devout Catholic.

Everyone came before her. She enjoyed gardening and received Akron Beautification Awards for her yard.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Ruby (Miller) Preto; and husband, Paul P. Reitenbach in 1996. She is survived by her sons, Paul (Beverly), Gary (Joy) and Michael Reitenbach; daughters, Diane (Michael) Cutright and Carol Reitenbach; grandchildren, John, Laura, Mark, Michelle, Cory, Adam and Kaitlin; and brother, Richard (Pam) Preto.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 10 a.m. at the Anthony Funeral Home Kucko-Anthony-Kertesz Chapel, 1990 S. Main St., Akron, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
