Blankets needed for the homeless

The cold weather is with us again and Winter is just around the comer. That means that the homeless in our area are in dire need of blankets to stay warm and stay alive. This need continues throughout the Fall, Winter and Spring. Many times the blankets that are issued become soaked due to rainy or snowy weather and must be
replaced. Our parishioners have been very generous in past years and we appeal to you again for help. It is not necessary to purchase new or expensive blankets, used
work just as well. Also, cash donations actually go farther as we have some established sources that we can purchase from in bulk. If you wish to make a cash donation, please
drop an envelope in the collection basket marked "BLANKET DONATION." There will also be a blanket box in the narthex for donations throughout the cold months
