Bruce W. Rayburn, 82, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at his home.
He was born December 4, 1928 to Homer and Rose (Post) Rayburn in Akron and had been an Akron resident his entire life.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 53 years, Kathleen; children, James Rayburn, Marie and James Mazzagatti and Deborah and James Shaffer; grandchildren, Lauren Mazzagatti, Katiann and Jordan Lile, Theresa Mazzagatti, Hannah Mazzagatti, Owen Shaffer and Liam Shaffer; great-grand-daughter, Lucy Lile.
Bruce was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. He was employed by Goodyear Aerospace for over 40 years. retiring in 1989.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, 7 p.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1580 Brown St., Akron, Ohio 44301. Cremation has taken place. There will no other services or visitation.
