How will Fr. Matt get his card? If he is not permitted to have access to any parishiners or be on church property, should he get a card. I think it is wonderful that so many of us have stood by him in support. In solidarity with our priests is what we should be doing.
Fr. Thomas will deliver it. Fr. Matt gets support from priests of the diocese. Parishioners may have contact with him. His administrative leave only means he cannot perform ministry, wear clerical garb or reside on parish property.
