Book, tapes, CDs on sale this weekend




St. Paul's big sale
of books, tapes and CDs is:

Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Saturday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Sunday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.


in the Parish Activity Center

I hope that this is better. Last years sale left alot to be desired. They had 8track tapes. Come on they our so outdated. Perhaps more things for children would be nice.

All of the hard work that volunteers put into this sale (and to the many other activities around St. Paul) is truly appreciated!

Yes, the hard work that volunteers do at St. Paul's might be appreciated if the volunteers weren't made to feel like they are unwelcome. Certain people have done certain things for so many years that they resent help from newer faces. It is hard to volunteer at St. Paul's when you sign up to do something and you show up and are told that your help is not needed. That is a sure way to make sure that volunteers are appreciated. I speak from experience which is why I do not volunteer any longer at St. Paul's. I have said it many times that without volunteers our parish would be nothing. We need to make sure that we are opening our arms and welcoming everyone who wants to be a part of something. This is how charity begines.
