St. Pat party nets $3,500: Thank you from Caryn

“Thanks to all supporters of St. Patrick's Fundraiser!” Because of ALL of you, we were able to pay down our new Church AND gym mortgage by $3,500.00. In addition to our past dedicated volunteers' help, I wish to thank our new volunteer - even NONparishioners - Tom Cullison of WNIR did a fabulous job as emcee; Mike Kirby was kept hopping on beverages, and Gary Jubara did a great sales job on the 50/50 raffle. Through no talent of my own, the raffle baskets were presently splendidly! Thanks to Fr. (Chef) Matt and Fr. (Host) Ralph for letting me convince them that a
"Dinner at the Rectory" would be a great silent auction fundraiser! Our winner, Eileen Dube bid $300! Our 50/50 raffle was the highest yet - $1,015! Winner Mary Bereider was thrilled with her $507 prize. Of course, without my dedicated volunteers and
donations from the many businesses and individuals who donated raffle prizes, monetary donations from St. Paul's Ladies' Guild and the Akron Ancient Order of Hibernians, food (Ripper Owens Tap House AGAIN donated 500 wings!), an incredible dessert table (donated by attendees), and the table flowers AGAIN donated by Amedeo's Florists, none of this could have happened ! My sincerest thanks to all of you! Please patronize those businesses for their generosity. God bless you
