Senior students from Archbishop Hoban, Our Lady of the Elms, St. Vincent-St. Mary, and Walsh Jesuit High Schools will speak at the First Friday Club luncheon at noon on Friday, February , at the University of Akron Martin Center, 105 Fir Hill. Their hour-long presentation will be on “Encountering God: Reflections from Catholic High School Students.” The First Friday Club of Greater Akron is a Catholic organization whose purpose is to bring the best Catholic thinkers, teachers and leaders into Akron on a monthly basis to promote a better understanding of the significant issues impacting church, family work and community life.
