Candidates for Confirmation attended the 9 a,m. Mass on Sunday and then went to a study session in Boeke Hall.
Each candidate was given a youth Bible blessed by the pastor, the Rev. Fr. Ralph Thomas, after the Mass. There are 34 candidates for Confirmation on February 12.
There will be another meeing of all candidates on Sunday, October 3, when they will attend the 9:30 a.m. Mass and have a study session until noon.
There will be a Confirmation Retreat on October 23 at Nativity of the Lore Jesus Parish, 2425 Myersville Road, Uniontown. Only candidates and sponsors are to attend the 4:30 p.m. Mass retreat and dinner to follow.Departure time is to be announced later.
There will be another Confirmation meeting and practice for all candidates and sponsors. They will attend the 9:30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, November 21, with a study session until noon.
Practice for Confirmation will be Sunday, January 30. Candidates and sponsors will meet at 2 p.m. in the Parish Activity Center,
The Confirmatin Mass will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, February 12. Candidates will arrive at the Parish Acdtivity Center at 330 p.m. and sponsors will arrive at 4 p.m. in Room 111.
