Prayer Shawl Ministry meets Tuesday 

The Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet Tuesday, September 14, at 10 a.m. at Nativity of the Lord Jesus, 2425 Myersville Rd. Bring your completed shawls for blessing, your current shawl to work . For infomration, call Ginny 330-644-4132 or Barb 330-699-4769.   

Men’s Fellowship breakfast resumes September 18
St. Paul Catholic Men’s Fellowship monthly breakfasts will resume Saturday,September 18, in Boeke Hall. Prayer and Bible Study are  the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. in Room 111.

Oktoberfest tickets go on sale September 19
The St. Paul Oktoberfest is Saturday, October 23, in Boeke Hall. German music provided by Akron Button Box Club and German food with cash bar. Buffet dinner at 6 p.m. with music and dancing from 7 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person and will be on sale beginning September 19..For tickets call Renee Amedeo 330-644-3011 or the rectory 330-724- 1263. Volunteers are needed. Call Renee  to volunteer.

K. OF C. spaghetti dinner is September 26
The Knights of Columbus spaghetti dinner will be  Sunday, September 26,  from noon to 4 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 2055 Glenmount Ave. Dinner includes spaghetti and meat balls, salad, bread and butter, dessert and beverage. Ticket are  $6 for adults (pre-sale) and $7 at the door and children $4. Tickets available at the hall Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.    

Catholic Women Fall Fashion Show is September 29
All women are invited to attend the sixth annual Luncheon and Fall Fashion Show of the National Councill of Catholic Women on Wednesday, September 29.. Lunch will be served at noon at the Galaxy Restaurant, 201 Park Centre Dr., Wadsworth. Doors open at 11  a.m. to view the Silent Auction items. Following lunch is a fashion show and raffle. Cost is $20 prepaid. Make checks payable to Cleveland Diocesan Council NCCW and mail reservations to Susie Straits, 2288 Woodpark Rd., Akron, OH 44333, (phone 330-836-8133). Deadline is September 23.
