PTO says it with candy--and instant lottery

St. Paul PTO said it with candy in this little token of appreciation to the faculy and staff on Friday as Catholic Schools Week wound down. Pieces of every imaginable kind of candy were used as words to create a poster letter to say thanks. Placed below the poster was a bowl full of candy for the teachers.  Here is the wording of the poster with the pieces of candy highlighted in blue:

Dear Teachers & Staff,

You are Treasures! You are worth a Mint for all you do. You should get 100 Grand every Pay Day.   We know sometimes our kids, and us parents, act like Airheads and Nerds, but you bring us such AImond Joy when youl teach our  Sugar Babies    about all those Whatchamacallits. It must be hard  to contain  your Snickers when our little ones tell you lots of Whoppers and Mounds of stories, but you never call them Dum Dums or say they are from the Milkyway.  You are the Reisen our children are all Smarties.  You are Lifesavers in times of trouble and Sweethearts in times of worry. We wish you an Extra sweet year.

With Hugs  and  Kisses!

Teachers also were given instant lottery tickets by the PTO on Thursday. There were at least a couple of winners we have learned about so far.  Eighth Grade teacher Sean Collins won $25 and  librarian Cheryl Childress $2.
