Bernice Mahony dies at 95

Bernice Mary Mahony, 95, was called to Heaven on January 5, 2010.

She was born on November 18, 1914 and lived most of her life in Akron. She was a long-time member of

St. Paul's Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post 209. Bernice retired from Gervis Brown Derby after 20 years of service.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Harold "Skip" Mahony and Louis Mahony.

Bernice is survived by her son, Mathew (Gerry) Mahony; daughter, Sara Bernice Mahony; sister, Helen (Nick) Dadas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 10 from 2 to 4 PM at Adams Mason Memorial Chapel, 791 E Market Street, Akron 44305.
