St. Paul Volunteer Parishioners will provide Christmas dinner for the clients at the Peter Maurin Center on Sunday, December 27, from 1 to 4 p.m.. Signup for donations will be next weekend, December 19 and 20, after all the Masses in the narthex. Drop-off will be Saturday, December 26, from 2:30 to 4:30 p.m. in Boeke Hall. Donations of shopping cards to purchase food for the meal also can help the school if purchased through the PTO Student volunteers who help also can earn school serivice hours. St. Paul parisioners also can help the Maurin Center to provide blankets to the poor and homeless of Akron. New or used blankets are welcome. Pplace your donations in the blanket box in the narthex. If you prefer to make a cash donation, drop an envelope marked “Blankets, Attn: Debbie Young” in the offertory basket or at the rectory.
