More than 300 attend the annual St. Paul Breakfast with Santa on Saturday morning in Boeke Hall.
Winners took home 25 baskets that were raffled off plus eight gift certificates.
Breakfast of scrambled eggs, sausage, waffle sticks and coffee was served. Students enjoyed crafts in the old gym.
Santa made his appearance and posed for pictures with children. He also took part in a wondrous Christmas skit that added a delightful new touch this year. (Please see the article below on the skit)
Breakfast profit for 2009 was approximately $1,565. This is less than last year’s profit because of extra expense of about $500 to replace many of the decorations this year, said chair Rikki Horrigan.
The 50/50 rafflc tickets brought in $274, Santa photos 82.50, raffle tickets $1,048.20 for a total of $2,739.70 before expenses.
Mrs. Jeanette Michel, who retired last year as third grade teacher, won $161 in the first 50/50 raffle and Felicia Adam won $113 in the second raffle.
