CatholicTV.com provides some nice programs


CatholicTV.com which launched in February features a large variety of streaming video shows and programs.

During July the website will highlight shows and programs from the Basilica of the National Shrine of Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC, and will have some sort of coverage of the meeting of Pope Benedict XVI and President Barack Obama at noon on Friday.

Highlights of some of the programming offered.

NEWSBREAK helps keep CatholicTV viewers up to date with all the news from the Vatican and around the world.

THIS IS THE DAY is a live half-hour talk show Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m.

THE ROSARY is prayed daily at 10 a.m., 7 p.m. and 3 a.m.

DAILY MASS can be seen live Monday through Friday at 9:30 a.m. The Mass is also rebroadcast on CatholicTV at 7:30 each evening and midnight...

NOTRE DAME SUNDAY MASS The 10 a.m. Sunday Mass from the University of Notre Dame’s Basilica of the Sacred Heart

PAPAL PROGRAMMING provides the English-language version of Pope Benedict XVI’s weekly general audience and airs every Wednesday at 10:30 p.m.

CHAPLET OF DIVINE MERCY is said in CatholicTV’s Chaplet of Divine Mercy every day of the week at 3 p.m.

There also is a monthly TV magazine and many other features.
