Six-year-old kindergarten student Tara Lanham, daughter of Lisa and Dave Lanham, was busy after the 9 a.m. Mass on Sunday giving out milkweed seeds for a $1 donation to help save Monarch butterflies,
Monarch butterflies lay their eggs on the branches of the mllkweed.
Tara's kindergarten class started a project they hope will help save the endangered butterflies.
For a one-dollar donation, the students provide a packet of seeds you can plant to help.
They will be selling the seeds in school all week if you missed Tara after Mass.
