The abortion facility that was driven out of Green in July, 2008 is now open at 215 E, Waterloo Road directly across the street from the sacred ground of Holy Cross Cemetery.
An insert in this weekend’s church bulletin from the Right to Life of Summit County seeks help in preventing the operation.
Here are some actions suggested:
✔ Pray every day to end abortion
✔ Send email to Ward 7 councilperson Tine Merlitti ward7@ci.akron.oh.us and Council President Marco Sommerville wardl2@ci.akron,oh.us.to show your concern.
✔ Direct women who need support to the Community Pregnancy Center, `058 Wooster Rd. W, Barberton, OH 44208 (330.825.1900) or Pregnancy Solutions and Services, 3136 Manchester Rd., Akron, OH 44319 (339.644.4490)
✔ Contact the landlord and neighbors if you are a tenant near this building.
✔ Learn about the RU-486 drug being dispensed at the facility which is used to end a pregnancy. (There is complete information on the reverse side of the insert)
✔ Visit www.summitrtl.com or call 330-762-2785 for updates on peaceful protests.
✔ Write letters to the editor of the Akron Beacon Journal, Suburbanite and South Side News Leader to state your opposition.
