She was the mother-in-law of St. Paul School principal Rosemary Capotosto
Flora E. Capotosto, 98, passed away March 6, 2009.
She was born in Castel DiSangro, Italy and moved to Akron in 1960.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vincenzo. Flora is survived by her daughter, Angelina (Tony) Caruso of Italy; son, Fred (Rosemary) Capotosto of Tallmadge; grandchildren, Gianni, Enzo, Cosma and Carlo Caruso, Angela Rednour, Sergio and Roberto Capotosto; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Martha Church, 300 E. Tallmadge Ave. Akron. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at the Church prior to the Mass on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. Martha.
