Mileage Club is going off the chart

This mileage chart shows 70 students are now participating in the
St. Paul Mileage Club at Jenkins Gym. Adults have joined the program.

Adults have joined the St. Paul Mileage Club and the number of students now involved in the program at Jenkins Gym is going off the chart. When the program started last October there were 22 students. That number had grown to 44 last week and now there are 70 students on the chart which has spaces for 72 walkers. Adults are not placed on the chart, but several are keeping logs of their walking distances..

Cones are set up in a perimeter along the gym walls. Students walk around the gym, keeping count on the number of times. Three girls soon will have reached the 100 mile mark. Everyone of all ages is welcome to walk for fun and fitness Monday through Thursday from 7:20 to 7:50 a.m. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, adults may walk until 10 a.m.
