Serra Club to meet August 23 at St. Paul

The Akron Serra Club Picnic at St. Paul on Saturday, August 23, will include a Mass at 4:30 p.m. followed by a covered dish dinner in the Boeke Hall. Seminarians and their parents hav been invived.

Tuesday, Aug. 12 Father Michael Smith, pastor of Immaculate Conception.

Tuesday, Aug. 26 No noon meeting.

Tuesday, Sept. 9 Father Neil Kookoothe, pastor of St. Clarence parish in North. Olmsted tentativeluy schduled.

Tuesday, Sept. 23 Father Ralph Thomas, pastor of St. Paul.

The club meets at noon at the Martin Center on the University of Akron campus

REST IN PEACE: Irene Krupp of St. Hilary parish died August l5. Irene and her husband were loyal Serrans and served as program vice presidents for a couple of years. Irene dropped out upon the death of her husband, Carroll.
