Angels are rejoicing and the fish in Heaven are nervous. David passed away on February 28 after a long illness.

ng Akron resident, he had owned and operated Econ-O-Mart on Arlington, and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Parish. David was an avid outdoorsman.A devoted husband, father, grandfather, he is survived by wife, Donna (nee Paulus); children, Nancy (Brian) Kannel, Debbie (Larry) Petry, and John (Annie) Henry; grandchildren, Nicholas, David, Matthew, and Lake; sister, Helen (Boyd) Filler.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pebble Creek and all the friends who lent their support.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Dunn-Quigley Funeral Home (811 Grant St.). Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Society in care of St. Paul's Church.
